ORDERING

1: CONVERSATION

Every io̍klîn frameworks frame starts with a phone call, email, or visit to the shop. We’ll talk about your current bike, how and where you ride, and what you’d like from your new io̍klîn.

2: MEASUREMENTS AND DEPOSIT

Once we’ve confirmed your needs and wants, it’s time to get serious. You’ll fill out an order form with your details and body measurements. This part is critical so I prefer to measure you at the shop. If you cannot meet in person we’ll work together to find a bike shop that can help you out so we get the most detailed information possible. I’ll also collect a non-refundable 10% of total amount deposit at this time.

3: DESIGN

At this stage I’ll create a drawing of your new io̍klîn and send to you for review. Once the design and details are set and I have your approval, materials will be ordered and you will go into the queue. Wait times average about 4-5 weeks per frame.

4: BUILD

When I am ready to begin building your frame I will ask for a 40% of total payment. This allows me to keep everything moving along and keeps my wait times short. At this point we will also discuss paint options. All io̍klîn frameworks frames come standard with a single color paint but don’t let that stop your imagination. Any number of custom colors and designs are possible.

5: PAINT

This is everyone’s favorite part and mine too. All painting is done locally by our expert painter and includes a durable matte or gloss clear coat over the paint to protect from wear.

6: FINAL PREP AND PAYMENT

After your frame returns from paint it will be treated with rust inhibitor. Additionally I will chase the threads, face the bottom bracket and headset, and ream the seat tube. At this point your new io̍klîn is ready to ship! But before it does I’ll need one final payment to get it out the door.

7: DELIVERY AND WARRANTY

I hope our story continues on after you receive your io̍klîn frame. Please feel free to contact me with comments or questions as I love hearing from customers and getting their feedback. Also, each io̍klîn frameworks frame comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for the original owner. If for some reason you feel your frame has an issue that falls under warranty please contact me immediately.
