COMMINICATE
The creation of each ioklîn frameworks frame begins with a conversation over the phone, email or in person at the studio. We'll discuss your current bike, how and where you ride, and what you want from your new ioklîn.
MEASUREMENT AND DEPOSIT
After confirming your needs and expectations, we will enter the formal stage. You will fill out an order form with personal information and body measurements. This step is very critical, so I prefer to measure it for you in the studio. If a physical visit is not possible, we will work together to find a bike shop to ensure the most detailed information is obtained. At this time, I will also charge a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount.
DESIGN
At this stage I will create a drawing of your new io̍klîn and send it to you for review. Once the design and details are finalized and approved by you, I will order the required materials and place your order in the production queue. The average production cycle is 4-5 weeks per frame.
MAKE
I will take photos and record the production process so that you can understand how your io̍klîn is born step by step. At this point we will also discuss paint options. All io̍klîn frameworks frames come standard with a solid color finish, but this does not hinder your imagination. Various custom colors and designs are possible.
PAINTING
This is everyone’s favorite part and it’s my favorite part. All painting work is completed by our professional painters and includes overlaying the paint with a strong matte or gloss varnish to protect against wear and tear.
